Chief Executive Officer
As CEO of REV Broadband, the parent company of RTC, EATEL, Vision Communications and VENYU, Josh Descant is responsible for aligning the mission, values and strategic goals for the state’s largest locally owned telecommunications provider.
With both an industry and entrepreneurial background, Descant brings a unique perspective to guiding the leadership team responsible for daily service to more than 60,000 residential and business customers across the state of Louisiana.
In a time where remote work, distance learning and healthcare are powered by the internet and cloud computing, Descant recognizes the deep purpose and significance of his role to help guide REV Broadband to serve the needs of the community. He greatly values his team and understands it is essential that everyone find meaning and purpose in their work and balance in their personal lives.
Prior to his appointment as CEO, Descant served as President of EATEL, and the previous position of Executive Vice President of Product Development and Marketing. Before joining EATEL, Descant was President of Sunshine Media, Upperline Media and ypOne publishing where he learned the importance of agility and adaptability through rapid growth and subsequent industry disruption.

Descant was born and raised in New Orleans and has served his country in the United States Marine Corps, where he learned the importance of discipline, teamwork and diversity. On the other side of the fun spectrum, he participated in the Walt Disney World college internship program, where he learned about the art of making customers happy and having fun at work. He also enjoys his wonderful home life with his wife and two daughters in Covington, Louisiana.
CPA – Chief Financial Officer
Peter Louviere serves as the chief financial officer and corporate treasurer for REV Broadband, the parent company of RTC, EATEL, Vision Communications and VENYU. He is responsible for the company’s financial stewardship on behalf of its 60,000 customers and growing. He directs financial and treasury duties, along with economic strategy and forecasting. In addition, Louviere oversees the company’s health and welfare plans, its 401(k) investments and is the executive sponsor to its cyber security committee and safety council.
Louviere joined the company (then Latelco) in 1993, with a strong background in financial leadership as well as extensive familiarity leading and executing numerous transactions associated with mergers and acquisitions. Further, Louviere dedicates his time to many community organizations’ boards, including serving as president and chairman of Lafourche Parish’s Special Education District No. 1 for the past 23 years in addition to tenured terms on the South Louisiana Economic Council (SLEC) and the Golden Meadow Lions Club.

Why I love RTC
It has truly been a wonderful experience to work for a local company with great growth potential. It is fun to work in an environment where we can turn on a dime versus maneuvering a huge ocean liner when we need to respond to our customer wants and needs. We have encouraged our employee base to “Give em the pickle” which has allowed our installers and customer service to not get caught up in the small stuff. This has enabled RTC to consistently beat the big guys and has created a truly wonderful customer service experience for our customers.

Here we work hard for our customers and have managed to keep the nimbleness and responsiveness of a small hometown company while adding the structure that sets us up to provide for our customers’ future in a constantly changing telecom world.
